This condolence is meant for Gracie's Mother. As a mother who has lost a child through tragedy, my sincerest prayers go out to you & your family at this tumultuous time in your lives. There is a lesson in everything this world presents to us, but for now, please allow yourself time to grieve & mourn your immense loss. The Bible tells us there is a time and a place for everything and you are in your place. There are NO words to express the loss of children so please, do not feel you have to say anything. I am praying for you and you entire family.May God speed his love...........................

Like a breath of fresh air... |
August 5, 2008 |
I can tell that this woman was full of life. So bright... so young, a leader among her peers, but at the same time liked to have fun. Enjoying the moment, but laying a foundation for the future... for herself, her family, her passion, and her future suitor. I just glanced through the pictures and on everyone her smile was so bright and wide. I could see that she was so in love with Jan Bennett and looked forward to becoming his bride. I don't even know this woman, but after reading this story, seeing those pictures, looking into those eyes, thinking about her brothers situation... Oh GOD, I cried. I can't imagine the loss. I can't fathom the pain. To her family, her friends, and all those who knew and loved her...my condolences.
As for me, this story...this life... has showed me that life is precious and should never be taken for granted. She has opened my eyes, cleared my mind from the clutter and smog like after a heavy rain. I thank GOD for being able to learn about Gracie and being able to breathe fresh air again. Wow, what a woman, what an impact. ~~~R.I.P

Given the circumstances in which this awful tragedy occured, even though I did not know Gracie or Andre personally, I feel as if someone in my family has passed. May GOD bless and stand by both families in this moment of grief. RIP to both Gracie and Andre.

I did not know Gracie, but I am an alumni of The University of West Georgia-- I graduated last year around the same time as Gracie--this event is so close to my heart. It's nothing that I can say that can comfort the family, and close friends at a time like this. I just pray that each of you turn to God for healing and comfort during your period of grief. I am not just saying this, but you can tell him anything---tell Him your pain, tell Him if you are mad, sad, scared, etc---

I knew Gracie from working at Kennestone. She was truely amazing. She always kept a great attitude no matter what. Gracie was one of those people that could take a the worst days and just turn it all around. She was always cracking jokes no matter what. She was a blessing the short time she was here. you and your family will be in my prayers. God Bless

Dear My Gee-Gee!
Girl I know you are looking down saying cheer up! And I'm trying my hardest...its just hard because I just walked away from you in the parking lot. All of us: Nes Nes, Danielle, Kanesa, Ty, and Me. I miss you so much, but as Nesie stated we were so blessed to have known you for the short timTRUSTe we did. Today I listened to Brandy and Tamia's song 'Missing You' and it made me feel a little better...then I just broke down again. Now all we have are these memories and just knknow that you are in a better place is comforting ENOUGH! No more struggles no more pain... All of my TRUST is in GOD, because I know he makes NO MISTAKES! Your mom said: "He takes the good ones 1st," when we were all at ya house Sunday, and it is so true... RIP babygirl, and I know: 1 Glad Morning, when this LIFE is over...I know I'll see your face!
Love Your JaDa
